Florida Hospital Carrollwood is Now the First in Hillsborough County (Tampa Area) to Earn The Joint Commission Gold Seal of Approval™ in Spine Surgery

Florida Hospital Carrollwood is the first in Hillsborough County to be recognized nationally by The Joint Commission for its Spine Surgery program.

Florida Hospital Carrollwood has earned The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval™ for Spinal Surgery by demonstrating compliance with The Joint Commission’s national standards for disease-specific care in hospitals.

Florida Hospital Carrollwood underwent a rigorous on-site survey in December 2013. At the invitation of the hospital, a Joint Commission expert surveyor evaluated the hospital for compliance with standards of care specific to spine surgery.
